Rev. Jojo V. Gabuya (They, Them, Their), is a non-binary Certified InterPlay Leader, Chaplain and Pastoral Care Minister, Climate Reality Leader, Happiness and Well-being Coach, Gluten-free and Vegan Chef, and an Artivist (using art as a tool for promoting wellness and well-being).
Rev Jojo uses InterPlay and other mindfulness and somatic practices in facilitating workshops, such as: “Transforming Oneself and Society: A Holistic Approach,” “Integrating Body, Heart, Mind, and Spirit Through InterPlay,” and “Loving Yourself, Living Life Fully, and Finding Your Rhythm of Compassion,” for Their transgender and non-binary siblings at TransFaith and Action Network (TFAAN). They teamed up with fellow BIPOC InterPlay Leaders in organizing and facilitating “Body Wisdom’s Elemental Magic: To Amplify BIPOC Body Wisdom,” and “Root to the Bone,” an Interplay Untensive, which invited participants to listen to their ancestral wisdom, honor their root systems, and move toward collective healing and transformation.
Rev. Jojo is currently pursuing a Ph.D in Practical Theology - Spiritual Care and Counseling - Spiritually Integrative Psychotherapy, at Claremont School of Theology.
