Please join us for one or all in this special online, three-class series of men's InterPlay led by Olaf Elander. The Oakland Thursday group went totally online for the early pandemic and relished the connection with people far and wide that this enabled, but we couldn't resist going back to in-person when we could safely do so again. But we miss our far-flung brothers!
Online InterPlay provides one of the most connecting and embodied experiences you can have in front of a screen. We hope you'll join us for facilitated creating together with stories, movement, and sound.
We'll meet from 7-8:25 PT on 10/16, 11/20, and 12/11 (10-11:25 pm ET, 9-10:25 pm CT, 8-9:25 pm MT, 12 noon-1:25 pm Sydney time).

Leaders
Olaf Elander
Olaf tasted an early increment of InterPlay at the Graduate Theological Union in the late 1980's. He returned to InterPlay in 2008 as one of the weekly Oakland men's group initiators. Olaf became a certified InterPlay Leader in 2017 and has led groups in Missoula Montana, and now in Naples, Florida.
He has an interest in men's work and has led Men's InterPlay sessions himself and with other male leaders.
Olaf facilitated work-life balance classes in the corporate world bringing parts of InterPlay to the information technology culture. He believes that InterPlay is to 21st Century spirituality what 12 Step has been to 20th Century spirituality. Whee!!
Amos Alan Lans
Amos Alan Lans likes to tell folks, “I became a dancer in my 50’s, thanks to InterPlay!” Amos is one of the three co-leaders of the Thursday evening men’s drop-in class. He loves introducing InterPlay to groups of men, especially gay men, especially older gay men who are learning new ways of enjoying being in their ageing bodies as well as playful ways of connecting with other guys. Letting stories emerge from movement is one of Amos’ favorite InterPlay activities. For 20+ years, Amos set up and taught in public school gardening programs. He now teaches the joys of composting, gardening, and healthy eating to at-risk urban youth in North Oakland’s Dover Street Edible Park, near his home on 61st Street.
