Bridge distances, create threads of connection, and explore the diverse faces of InterPlay! ! This group offers a soulful place to discover practices that develop ease in movement, voice, stillness, connection and storytelling. InterPlay is a practice and philosophy rooted in the power of play. It's an easy to learn, creative process.

InterPlay balances experiences of reflection and activity. Integrating body, mind, heart and spirit, It celebrates and creates connection and community. Through this simple form of play, we learn more about ourselves and each other.

InterPlay is incremental, affirming, and something that anybody can do! It opens paths of connection between people-- between cultures and faiths.

On 2nd Tuesdays we won't meet for this class and encourage you to attend the 2nd Tuesday European InterPlay gathering at 11:45 am-1pm CT.

Jane Siarny
Jane Siarny, MFA is dedicated to uplifting the human spirit through creativity, community building, and body-wise practices. For me, InterPlay opens the door to an integrated spiritual practice that allows for freedom and growth. Throughout my 30 years leading and performing InterPlay, I have found it to be the one practice where I can express all of myself; body, mind, heart and spirit. I bring added experiences to my teaching from a lifelong dance career, yoga teaching, love of poetry, A capella singing, and working with children. I am the InterPlay Life Practice Program Coordinator, a Life Practice Program Leader since 1999, and a Mentor in the InterPlay Leader Training Program. My story can be found in MOVE: What the Body Wants by InterPlay co-creators Cynthia Winton-Henry with Phil Porter.
Olaf Elander
Olaf tasted an early increment of InterPlay at the Graduate Theological Union in the late 1980's. He returned to InterPlay in 2008 as one of the weekly Oakland men's group initiators. Olaf became a certified InterPlay Leader in 2017 and has led groups in Missoula Montana, and now in Naples, Florida. He has an interest in men's work and has led Men's InterPlay sessions himself and with other male leaders. Olaf facilitated work-life balance classes in the corporate world bringing parts of InterPlay to the information technology culture. He believes that InterPlay is to 21st Century spirituality what 12 Step has been to 20th Century spirituality. Whee!!
Joan Greenwood
Joan Greenwood is the founder of the LovingKindness Week in Cleveland Ohio. She is also recognized in this city as a respected InterPlay Leader inTraining. Joan was born in Jamaica. Joan's Caribbean upbringing led her to develop her passion for movement, her love of nature and her embodied learning skills to support others to be able to tune into the wisdom of their own body. Joan Greenwood's academic history includes a degree in Human Services from Bunker Hill College, and two Bachelor of Science degrees, one in Sports Management from the American University and the other degree in Health and Wellness from Kaplan University. Having been an InterPlayer since 2014, Joan's skillfulness manifests in her teaching others how to be joyful, how to develop playfulness skills, how to honor their own Body Spirit, and how to have the experience of loving their own body more deeply. Joan's students learn to be aware of the frequencies of energy vibrations in their body as they grow in developing forms of dance movements, and mindfulness breathing practices. It can be said of her programs that many participants may learn to experience the wisdom of their own body creating healing within themselves and for the well being of others.
