This retreat leads into the Full Life Practice Program for Spiritual Leaders for those who want to continue. This program includes a series of online body wisdom trainings dates/times here. During the interactive, live, video sessions, participants deepen their body wisdom and articulation around aspects of creative spirit, the art of truth-telling, the nature of being a bodyspirit intellectual, how to play with challenges, healing and wholeness and encourage creative prayer and service in others.

The Closing Online Retreat is April xx, 2022: “(Sample Title) The Art of Collective Peace-making and Ritual.” Explore creativity and body wisdom for communal life. Experience the nature of embodied, peaceful community. This retreat culminates with a life practice program graduation celebration.

Financial considerations need not be a barrier to your participation. Financial support and flexible payment plans are available. Repeating the Program
Anyone who has previously completed the Secrets of InterPlay is eligible for the $300 repeaters rate.

Continuing Education Credit
15 CE credits for various healthcare and allied healthcare professions are available for those practicing throughout the U.S. and for educators only practicing in Illinois. CE pre-registration is required at least 2 weeks before the start of your event. Email Jane Siarny at interplaychicago@sbcglobal.net to APPLY for CEUs. There is a charge of $25-$40 per program. CEUs are offered through Continuing Education Institute of Illinois or R. Cassidy Seminars.

Wai-Chin Matsuoka

Wai-Chin is Singaporean Chinese, who was transplanted to the U.S.A. 35 years ago when she came to do her graduate studies, and met her American-Japanese husband.


She’s a spiritual director who comes alive whenever there’s an opportunity to midwife what’s ready to be birthed. She’s particularly experienced in bringing forth new life from the ashes of change and transition. Mentored and credentialed as an Ensoulment Coach, and a certified InterPlay leader, Wai-Chin loves to weave spirituality, somatic practices, soul-tending and InterPlay tools and forms into a tapestry of Love and Play. She especially enjoys shaping these tapestries into retreats, ongoing Body Wisdom Playgroup, and soul care workshops specifically for social reform activists.

Cassandra Sagan
Cassandra Sagan is a long time InterPlayer leader and Maggid--Jewish storyteller/teacher/preacher.She is a poet, singer/songwriter, visual artist, performer, and all around Cultural Creative. Cassandra is an arts educator who has worked with adults and children for over 30 years helping them to access their full creative brilliance. Shehas led Moving Midrash programs internationally and used InterPlay to train Jewish Educators to develop story-based curriculum and create classroom cultures grounded in an ethic of play.
Carolyn Renée
Carolyn Renée Morris (she/her) is a teaching and healing artist with more than a decade of service/experience in the creative and healing arts. She’s the former executive director of the ArtsXchange, a 37-year-old art and social change organization, and Alternate ROOTS, a 44-year-old social justice organization lifting up art as activism in the Southeast USA. Carolyn Renée is committed to the pursuit of art and social justice, health, and well-being for BIPOC on the frontlines of advancing justice. She is a certified InterPlay Leader and in 2008 became a health and wellness practitioner to heal herself from an illness which led to combining the healing and creative arts. With InterPlay, she creates Sacred Space for BIPOC and partners with USA/Ghana-based A Life of Peace Wellness Education Institute to ensure every home has an engaged artist/healer. She goes by “Carolyn Renée.”
