Leaders
Nancy Pfaltzgraf
Nancy Pfaltzgraf has been joyfully leading InterPlay classes and retreats in local and national settings since 2006. Having discovered InterPlay and the Life Practice Program helped her discover ease and joy in her professional life as the pastor of progressive Christian congregations. Her experience as an RN and a Hospice Chaplain has also given her a unique perspective on the way InterPlay can relieve stress and empower people in the helping professions to live and work with more grace and ease. Since leaving pastoral ministry it has been her delight to continue to offer her gifts through Body Wisdom - Deep Play groups for helping professionals, Retreats and Untensives, InterPlay Life Practice programs, Online Body Wisdom Tools classes, online classes and untentsives focusing on the Move to Greatness wisdom and an Online Interfaith Dance Chapel. Nancy holds coaching certification using the FEBI® [Focused Energy Balance Inventory] and Appreciative Inquiry and delights in both one-to-one and group Soul Coaching. Although her home base is in the Chicagoland area, her mastery of online communication forms allows her to serve people wherever they are. All this allows her to fulfill her life mission to "lead with love, follow with trust and dance with joy with those ready to step into the life-giving rhythms of grace".,
Cynthia Winton-Henry

Jane Siarny
Jane Siarny, MFA is dedicated to uplifting the human spirit through creativity, community building, and body-wise practices. For her, InterPlay opens the door to an integrated spiritual practice that allows for authentic and joyful living. Jane brings added experiences from a lifelong dance career, yoga teaching, love of poetry, singing, and working with children. She is the InterPlay Life Practice Program Coordinator, a Life Practice Program Leader since 1999, and a Mentor in the InterPlay Leader Training Program. Her story can be found in MOVE: What the Body Wants by InterPlay co-creators Cynthia Winton-Henry with Phil Porter.
Ruth Schowalter
Ruth Schowalter, visionary folk artist, communications educator, and creativity coach, co-founded InterPlay Sustaining International Sisters (SIS) with Canan Arikan in 2018. In 2019, SIS began Online Global SIS to offer InterPlay to women worldwide. In 2020, InterPlay SIS became a 501c3 with the Body Wisdom Office. As a certified InterPlay Leader and Life Practice Program Leader, Ruth is dedicated to bringing together women from diverse backgrounds (geographical, cultural, spiritual, racial, educational, and generational) through play. Within InterPlay, she found the structure to connect women in ways that support them and allows them to share, learn, and inspire one another. Ruth has an M.S. in Applied Linguistics and ESL and taught international students English communication at the university level for 30 plus years, applying InterPlay to her instruction since 2012. She found that InterPlay transformed her language classroom into a community of enlivened and engaged learners. She also brings her expertise to scientists and professionals in workshops, offering them fun new ways to communicate their research and ideas in public presentations. As an artist, Ruth stays engaged in the creative process and established the The Daily Creative Practice Group a decade ago on Facebook to insure that her own art, dreams, and creative ideas get priority while supporting others creative engagement. She is in her fourth year of offering a weekly Dance Chapel through Cynthia Winton-Henry's Hidden Monastery where she leads participants to blend movement, prayer, and making marks. In 2022, Ruth co-led a monthly Ensoulment Creativity Studio with Cynthia Winton-Henry. She exhibits her visionary work both online and offline. Once called a “sophisticated primitive” artist, her colorful figurative paintings and drawings express her inner world both from dreams and psychological meanderings. She lives in Decatur with her author husband, Anthony J. Martin and two cats, Tao and Sapelo.
Monisha Mittal
Monisha Mittal is Certfied Leader (CL) and Life Practice Program Leader (LPL) in the Washington DC region. She has been playing since 2018 and cherishes InterPlay for supporting her daily recovery from overachieving. Inspired by the freedom, connection and laughter InterPlay has brought to her life, she creates workshops and courses to help humans grow their authenticity, agency and light with ease and joy. She writes weekly articles about the human journey in the weekly publication, The (tiny) Voice of Big Love with the tag line "Because Humaning is harder than Adulting." A certified Sacred Depths coach, she supports individuals in playing with their sneaky deep and discovering their embodied wisdom in one-on-ones.
Rehana Tejpar
Marla Durden
