InterPlay "Elders" Perfoming Group Information Session

Alline Thurlow

Seattle, WA

Thursday, November 12th 10:30 am to noon

If you consider yourself an elder (or almost there), you are invited to come and learn more about our intention to create a performance group that will initially play before audiences of elders in residential facilities.

Our goal is to inspire others to embrace the changes of aging. We will "walk [stop and run!] our talk" using InterPlay forms to demonstrate possibilities, and we expect to have a great time doing so. How does that sound to you? Are you interested in finding out more, adding your ideas? We will be meeting on Thursday, November 12th from 10:30 to noon in the meeting room at Victrola Coffee & Art which is located on Capitol Hill at 411 15th Ave. E, Seattle 98112.L/p>

Don't get too excited yet. There are some considerations for you to know in advance:

This performance group is for people who have had Life Practice training and/or have had extensive InterPlay experience (basically you are comfortable with and able to demonstrate the forms).

We anticipate that our performances will occur during the day. Initially we anticipate rehearsing twice a month with a goal for our debut performance to be January 2016. We may ask for a small contribution (consider it dues?) for rental of rehearsal space.

If you have questions, please bring them to the meeting, or if you are interested but unable to attend this informational meeting, please contact either one of us by email below.

We are really excited (in fact a bit giddy) about this and are hoping that you are too! Looking forward .... Alline and Kaveri alline.thurlow@gmail.com erniehurwitz@msn.com
