How do you find your balance in you life? Join us as we celebrate the equal parts of day and night together. Yes! We will breathe deeply, stretch and swing, thrust and shape as we bring our BodySpirits and stories into this time of play.
We'll open the InterPlayce Studio at 6:45 p.m. to say hello and have a little time to chat until 7:00, then class will go from 7:00-8:25.

COVID Protocol: Our goal is to provide a safe and welcoming environment for people with a wide variety of health situations. We require that folks either take a same-day COVID test and test negative or wear an N95 or KN95 mask during class. If you have questions, please reach out to the leader via the link below.
Parking tip: If you're driving, you may want to avoid parking on 23rd Street (where vehicles have been broken into lately). Grand Avenue and Telegraph Avenue have been safer options for many folks. Also avoid leaving any items visible in your vehicle.

InterPlayce is the center of the InterPlay universe. The offices for Body Wisdom, Inc. are also located here. The building is at the corner of 23rd and Telegraph, one block north of West Grand. It is just a few blocks from the 19th Street Downtown Oakland BART station, and on several convenient bus lines. On-street parking is always available at night and metered during the day. It is also easily accessible by several of the major freeways.

Leaders
Jonathan Leavy
Jonathan Leavy brings a rich and varied bundle of experience to his InterPlay leading. Originally from Colorado, Jonathan used his music major from Colorado State University and performed in and around Florida and New York City for 12 years. From off-broadway to cruise ships, and from dinner theaters to theme parks, Jonathan has found joy through diverse musical theater opportunities. A call to ministry brought Jonathan to Pacific School of Religion in 1998 where he focused on spirituality and the arts. Jonathan has completed the InterPlay Leadership Program and is a long-time member of WING IT! Performance Ensemble and a leader in the InterPlay community, teaching classes and retreats with a focus on the voice and performing.
Susan Main
Susan Main has her BA in Dance and Theater from UC Santa Cruz and has been leading InterPlay and performing with Wing It! Performance Ensemble since 1995. Her leading experience includes Interplay Camp, New Years Eve Retreats, Untensives, Monday women's group, monthly Deepening and the Leadership Program. She infuses InterPlay into her 12-step recovery work, nature play, tap dancing, dance teaching, attitude and life. Her specialty: creating a safe and playful haven for creativity and truth...wit and laughter.
