We can't help ourselves!

WING IT! — “Up to Our Ears in Art”

Berkeley, CA

Friday, July 11, 2014 • 7:30 pm

The members of WING IT! Performance Ensemble do more than create amazing evening-length combinations of story, song and movement—all improvised and created right there on the spot. They are also poets, painters, writers, sculptors, soloists, composers and a whole lot more. And then they probably have a day job or two!

In this evening the company will reflect on their art-making and how that has changed their lives. What does it mean today to claim yourself as an artist? What are the joys and struggles of making art? Can anyone be an artist?

This evening is part of ArtPlunge!, a multiple-day immersion in community and creativity. Wednesday night through Saturday night, July 9-12, 2014, also being held at First Church Berkeley. All are invited to come be energized by the easy accessibility of InterPlay.

Also on Thursday, July 10, powerful and moving singer Queen Michelle Jordan will perform. Same time and location. Evening performances are open to the wider public.

Cost: Free to ArtPlunge participants/$10 for others at the door

Registration/Information: Call the InterPlay office at 510/465-2797 about the concert or ArtPlunge
