Joy Anna leads InterPlay as an Embodied Liberation coach & healer. She loves InterPlay for the embodied experiences of power, joy, connection, and liberation. Joy Anna dove into InterPlay in 2007 and quickly started leading, performing and organizing InterPlay. She co-directed/produced a ritual theatre performance using InterPlay, in addition to coaching other performers. She co-created a series of workshops and retreats called Recreating Encounters that combined InterPlay with Quaker worship for community experiences of spirit-led expression. After stepping away for 7.5 years of meditation and service in an ashram and Shiva Temple, then 6 years of early motherhood, she returns to leading InterPlay with more toys/tools to play/sing/move/witness/lead with. Her passion for embodiment, healing, connection, and faith in the human spirit guides her InterPlay endeavors and her private practice “Embodied Liberation” that combines NIASZIIH shamanic healing, somatic counseling, and Body Wisdom Coaching.
