Living Memorials

Anita Bondi and Leah Mann

Seattle, WA

Saturday, May 26th 10 am gather Play Shop 10:30am to 5:30 pm

For too long we have been at war with ourselves. We wake up with hope and possibility, but so often spend a good part of the day steeped in patterns of behavior and thought processes that only serve to beat us down and kill our spirits.

In honor of Memorial Day, we will play into and remember who we really are. The time together will be a reflection of what we memorialize and what we remember / re-member.

“make yourself an altar
bring beauty all around you
light a thousand candles
be the dance of their flames”

We will create space to decorate and honor all that we have fought for, hold gently all that we have are ready to release, and proclaim bravely all that we are and have always been.

Come to re-member all that is Real and True through myth and improvisational playfulness.

Come sing, dance, tell stories, write and be revitalized. No experience necessary.

Anita Bondi
Anita discovered InterPlay during her senior year at East Stroudsburg University in 1986. Almost a decade later, when her dance injuries threatened to end her movement career, she came back to improvisation and became a certified InterPlay leader. It saved her life and that is the truth! It has opened up doors and windows that she would have never seen. All of this has led her to the creation of The InterPlay Inspiration Deck. The deck was released in 2009 and consists of 22 of the principles and practices of InterPlay brought to life with stories, colors and symbols. It is a great tool for seasoned InterPlayers, as well as an easy , delightful introduction to InterPlay for anyone else! http://www.anitabondidesigns.com
