Sharie Bowman

Sharie Bowman, MA is a Mental Health Counselor and Regional InterPlay Leader. She has been leading InterPlay since 2004 and has co-led four Life Practice Programs. She is particularly intrigued with the potential InterPlay has to support people to create healthier lives by following the wisdom of their bodies and taking the lead in their own lives. In her private practice she regularly weaves InterPlay’s life-enhancing forms and philosophies to help individuals and families thrive. For over 20 years, she has been exploring the wisdom of the body through a variety of modalities including InterPlay, Authentic Movement, Core-Energetics, and Biodynamic Psychotherapy.

Stephen Condit

After decades in higher education and technology, Steve rediscovered life-below-the-neck through movement and the embodied voice practices of Gabrielle Roth's 5Rhythms® and Chloe Goodchild’s The Naked Voice. His explorations have also included taking Aikido with his son and studying embodied leadership with Richard Strozzi-Heckler. But all this was just a prelude to InterPlay. Steve says “for me, discovering InterPlay was like coming home. InterPlay combines my major life interests, movement, voice, storytelling, and stillness and has opened new, easier paths for my personal and spiritual growth, all in the context of play. It has provided balance to my intellectual and serious approach to life and restored my joy and creativity.” Steve has co-facilitated Secrets of InterPlay and the Life Practice so that others may rediscover the joy of play and learn that transformation does not have to involve struggle.

Ingrid Hurlen

Ingrid Hurlen is a Certified InterPlay Leader (since 1997) and Creative Dance teacher/workshop facilitator. She has a BA in Drama from Lone Mountain College. With InterPlay Seattle founder, Krista Harris, she co-led two InterPlay leadership programs. She currently teaches parent/child and preschool creative dance classes at the Creative Dance Center, Dance Fremont and workshops for early childhood educators at Edmonds Community College. She also is cultivating Dance for People with Parkinson's classes with Anne Green Gilbert at the Creative Dance Center. She is also an experienced dance and theater performer. She produced the 2000 Seattle "Unbelievable Beauty of Being Human" concert with Wing It! Performance Ensemble and over 40 InterPlayers from around the country. After a seven year hiatus, she is joyful to return to leading and playing in the InterPlay Seattle community!

Billie Mazzei

Deanna Murray

Deanna Murray discovered more than ten years ago the value of InterPlay in her life as a woman, as a minister, and as a spiritual director. Deanna began participating in a weekly playgroup in Minneapolis. Since that time, she moved to the Seattle area and is now a graduate of the Seattle-based InterPlay Leadership Program. She says, "InterPlay is a life giving spiritual practice which brings me into the 'moment', opens me to a playful approach to life, and grounds me in my own body wisdom." Deanna has been playing with the tools of InterPlay since 1995, leading small and large groups, introducing movement and play in retreat settings, and inviting embodiment in worship. She is an ordained minister in the United Church of Christ, a spiritual director and a local pastor of a renewing congregation on Capitol Hill in Seattle. Often Deanna leads play groups at WomanSpirit, a lovely retreat center on Cougar Mountain in Issaquah, Washington.
